Organize Virginia's mission is to move Virginia forward by establishing and maintaining a Democratic majority at all levels of government and to strengthen local clubs, committees, community groups and other organizations that promote volunteerism. Organize Virginia has been created to execute this mission based on needs that we have identified, they are as follows:
Obviously, these things will not happen overnight. We are under no illusions that any of this will be easy. We believe that when ordinary people come together, they can do extraordinary things.
- The need for Presidential level organizational tactics and professionalism to be available to State and Local campaigns.
- The need to have continuity from one election cycle to the next instead of trying to "rebuild the wheel" every cycle.
- The need for volunteers to be able to communicate and organize through a stable platform that does not change every year and is not hitched to any one campaign, but strengthens all campaigns.
- The need for Virginia organizers to manage and work Virginia races. Virginians are some of the smartest and hardest working people in this country. We seek to use this advantage in order to hire and train the next generation of homegrown talent.
- The need for local committees to be strengthened so that they are able to reach those that want a seat at the table of their local Democracy and also, so that they can be more effective in fighting for the local issues and candidates that they care about.
- The need for local groups and organizations to work together to achieve shared goals and common interest.
